Hi, I was hoping someone can guide me to a better direction than where I've been going. I've had a rough childhood and a lot of things I've surpressed due to not being able to handle them; lots of insecurities, lack of faith/confidense in myself, unable to handle social situations correctly. Recently I've had a lot of weird panic attack episodes that have led to neurotic obsessions. I compulsively think about stuff that I really shouldn't care about but obsess over it which causes a lot of stress and anxiety. I always feel a tension in my chest (right around in between the chest to the back, above the nipples) that I assume seem to sprout off all these things. Whenever I have a bad panic attack it's usually in my chest or near that area.

I've gone to a hypnotherapist (waste of $300!), Reiki healer (thought I felt good but nothing changed), tried Pranic Healing (breathing but felt the chest area blocking me fully being able to take a whole deep breath. Also didn't do the scanning or other things), meditation (where I try to ask a question and wait for an answer), seeing a psychiatrist/psychotherapist who didn't really seem too interested and offered me pills, ect. I know it's very much deep seeded, and I know many of the reasons why I'm miserable (usually walking by myself brings these things up) but I still feel like crap. It's really ruining my life.

I was hoping for something that will help me with trying to rid of my past that's haunting me and rid of any tension anywhere in my body. Does anyone know of Qigong/Tai Chi or Reiki like techniques I can use on myself that will help me clear this area out? What about essential oils or any other option that I haven't tried yet that's really effective? I've looked online for Qigong type exercises but I seem to have to pay for an expensive book (plus always reading doing it "without a master" is not the best, kind of hard when there are no masters in your state) or other garbage. Any help is MUCH appreciated.
