Thank you for this forum & web site .. so i thought to add that at 30 i had a huge varicose vein running down left calf from knee It was painful as was the great swelling in both kneee joints.. A surgeon told me to have the vein removed & take aspirin neither of which sounded good to me . A freind told me of Water Fasting so i went for a walk with a freind along a deserted beach in Costa Rica taking only water for food ..Water which came from the jungle via streams into the ocean .. On the 4th morning , thats 3 days & 3 nights of taking water only, the huge vein had disappeared & so did the swelling in both knee joints ..Now i'm 62 & neither have returned ..I had seen a rather obeese man running a small junk food store in Montreal who said he had 18 separate varicose veins removed so i relaized that was not the way to go..thank you Owen your post on healing eyes was helpful Am going to try your suggestions ..
