It's interesting the formula, because I had asked the acunpuncturist I go to and she suggested putting drops of honey directly into the eye (pure honey). I went so far as to buy the honey but my husband almost had a fit, saying under no circumstances and of course when I asked the eye doctor (whose remedies of cortizone never have helped), he said it could do damage to the eye because it was an irritant?? (if I recall correctly). Anyway, I never put them, but the acunpuncturist also suggested pulsatilla, and I purchased it and against the shouts of my husband, my daughter took it (in one dose), and 2 days later her eye problems went away and she has not had the problem since....hopefully it won't return. But isn't cider and honey very irritating to the eye?? Thank you!
