Hi.

I've been experiencing extrememly dry eyes for quite some time now. However, I only get it in the morning when I wake up. I'm okay throughout the day. But in the morning, it is so bad that I cannot even open both eyes. They are so dry....they seal shut! I have to massage my eye for a while, and then I can open them very slowly.

I'm afraid that the dryness is producing a "scratchiness" on the eye, and could possibly damage the retina and entire eye and eventually cause blindness. It happens every single morning I awake.

Anyone else experience this?

Any suggestions on what it could be?
