Rae, one more thing I forgot to mention. I did the same thing and went to see the surgeon. I told him that I have gallbladder attacks and have Gallstones and that's why I was seeing him. He asked me about my symptoms and I told him what food sets me off into an attack. He said, "Well it could be Irritable Bowel Syndrome. So here's what we can do, we can remove your gallbladder and if you still have an attack then we know it wasn't your gallbladder and we'll look at other options." HIS EXACT WORDS!!! I was in shock, I am 28 yrs old with 3 children and thought to myself. He must think I'm stupid or something. I'm going to let him remove my gallbladder at the chance that it could be something else??? The surgeon doesn't care about your body, he sees a problem and wants to cut it out. When you can really take care of this in a natural way. I was scared too, I'm sure we all were. The doctors have a good way of scaring you into surgeries. As for stones getting caught? At worst if that were to happen, then all that would happen is you get the surgery. That's why it's VERY IMPORTANT to find out how many you have and how big they are. GOOD LUCK!
