Flush anyway.
Raed Liver Flush FAQ : ATTACK, what to do when having an attck.
> "Because, for flush he has to make certain preparations and remain in fasting etc.etc."
No special preparations if it is an emergency. If you are having an attack. Take Epsom Salt as soon as possible.
All you need is to drink Epsom Salts and prepare oil mixture.
> "can we scan stones stuck in bile duct by ultrasound and how correct is the measurement of stones by ultrasound."
No, you cannot trust to ultrasounds.
Cholangiogram is far better tool to diagnose stones, but I would not recommend it to anyone ... it is bad procedure!
Cholangiogram
Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram (PTCA)
Definition
PTCA is a fluoroscopic (using a special X-ray machine that projects images onto a TV screen) examination of the bile ducts inside and outside the liver after a contrast medium is injected directly into a liver bile duct.
Why is the Test Performed?
To determine if there is an obstruction inside bile ducts.
How is Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram (PTCA) Performed?
The test is performed in a radiology department by a radiologist. You will be asked to lie supine (on your back) on the X-ray table. The upper right side of the abdomen is cleansed and a local anesthetic is given. A long, thin, flexible needle is then inserted through the skin into the liver. With guidance from the fluoroscope, the bile duct is found and the contrast medium injected. The contrast medium then flows through the ducts and can be seen on the fluoroscopic monitor.
What do Abnormal Results Mean?
The results may show ducts that are dilated which may indicate there is an obstruction. The obstruction may be caused by infection, scarring, stones, or cancer in the bile ducts, liver, pancreas, or region of the gallbladder.
Additional conditions under which the test may be performed:
biliary obstruction
Cholangitis
