Forget Atkins diet totally and do more research on why. Lots of info. that is negative regarding Atkins. I have not heard anything negative about Dr. Mercola. I promote the Hallelujah Diet as seeing great results besides weight. If you go to hacres.com...see their health tips...search for Dr. Atkins or various diets I believe you will find that issue. Can't remember off hand, but regardless lots of info to be found.

Glad to hear of Dr. Mercola results at someone's clinic in AZ here.
