Just a quick note on beans since i dont have the names of all the differant toxins in them! however like many plants use certain chemical repellants to ward off predators most beans have these, particularly the soybean which was introduced to the midwest because birds would not eat them as they would corn the birds , crows actually, instictively new soy was toxic! Also almost all low carb diets restricts all beans except a few like garbanzo! I think they are considered to be too starchy or possibly gluton, or a similar type substance !
