"Run for the hills" is an expression I frequently use to advise people in hopeless situations to get out, just move on. People today are just not good at sizing up situations (look at all the bad relationships out there!). It's embarassing. My case is so easy to make. Run far, far away from troubling people because they will BRING YOU DOWN WITH THEM. You only have so many "good years" to find a solid life partner, why waste those years "rehabbing" a broken one?
