I'm so proud that you got up the courage to post your situation. Your taking steps in the right direction.
I feel that as long as you are completly honest with your wife, you're doing right by her. Next I also believe, unfortunatly, a lot of the work that needs to be done is up to her. It's her own demons that need to be delt with. Of course the right therepy is a good start.There are so many avenues for her to go down if she is willing to put in the effort.
Maybe she isn't comfortable with therepy, she then might want to do her own research on to why she doesn't want to have sex. Maybe the pain is real for her only because that is what she wants, an excuse not to have sex.
Before you make a decision to give up, put your best effort into her. I am interested in knowing what you think is the solution.
Would she agree to you having sex with other people?
Deep down you know the answers, use your knowledge. You will make the best choices.
