Parr,

I wanted to say that I am sorry for not acknowledging your pain. It is almost always difficult when a relationship ends, especially when you have invested several years of your life into the person and relationship.

I am concerned that your ex-girlfriend seems to be playing games with you though. I do not think that games should be tolerated so I guess I was a little harsh. They are not good for you in terms of maintaining self-esteem or happiness. You certainly deserve to be treated better. And, problems like these become cyclical in a relationship, thus instead of an off moment, they are repeated more and more often.

If you do not end up getting back together, I wish you luck in learning from the experience, growing, and moving on. If you do get back together, it would be an excellent idea to sit down with each other and discuss what is acceptable behavior and what isn't.
