I don't believe in Rocky relationship due to illness. My mother and father were married 1 month short of 44yrs when she died. The last 26 years was "on death's door" then she would get a little better then back there again. They have a love that was admirable. My Dad's devotion to my Mother was constant, same from my Mother to my Father. I longed for love like that in past relationships-but it wasn't ever there. I finally found "THE MAN" -now my husband, 6 months after my mother died. I had given up on having a relationship. I was into a 4 year relationship with a con-man when my mother was dying and I had to beg the bast##d to even go to the funeral with me. Boy, that was wrong! I have enough to deal with I realized then that I didn't need him! Nothing I did was good enough in his eyes. I lost over 150lbs during that 4 year relaionship and had gotten down from size 28/30 to size 6. (I'm 5'6 1/2") and he STILL didnt think I was small enough. My mother on her death bed said I was killing myself with my weight. I was addicted to diet pills (but no one knew about them). and yes, they affected my heart (and mind). Needless to say it wasn't a month after I dumped him. But the point I'm making is that even with illness (now have cronic fatigue and doc says fibromalgia too along with heart problems-have gained 60 lbs back and am depressed along w/galbladder problems) the man of my dreams, now my husband, that was sent to my by GOD is now by my side and supports me in everything I do. He is my best friend. There is life after a bad relationship and is a man who will stand by you. Just follow your heart and pray about it. Read the book, The Prayer of Jabez. It's a small book but is powerful. Good Luck and God Bless. I'll pray for you.
