I had something similar happen in my relationship. Except that I hacked into her email accounts to see what was going on. I don't regret it for a second. If I didn't I probably would dump have dumped her ass a long time ago.
Mine was yapping with several guys from her past and having more of a "relationship" with them than me.

Maybe she has a good reason to be sensitive about her privacy, but maybe she's an emotional whore/lonely that needs attention from past relationships and from strangers on the net to make her feel good. Girls are nuts, they will put aside their present relationship in order to try to relive sentimental stuff from the past. She's probably keeping all sorts of love letters etc... from her ex and who knows what they are writing about. She lied to you about the frequency, she's probably lying about the content too. If she's not totally open with you now, she'll never be. She needs her privacy to keep things behind your back, which will in the end hurt you.
