With taking cayenne in caps there is the potential for stomach discomfort when the cap finally dissolves. The backlash from this event can be intense especially relative to the HU (heat units) of the cayenne. My experience is it is best to take the cayenne uncapped. I use just a scant bit in a 1/4t measure -- but I take the 90,000HU, which is pretty hot.
