So is Frozen shoulder and a sore Rotator cuff the same thing????

All I know is that I did not have a specific injury to my left shoulder, actually I thought it was all in my head... because (don't laugh)I recall one night thinking to myself as I was getting into bed...it won't surprize me if "one day" I have shoulder problems because I always sleep on my left side with my arm stretched upwards and my head resting on it. The very next day was when my problem began. ? Perhaps I should have posted this under "psychology"!!!
After all these years I had to trade sides with my husband as I can no longer sleep on my left side. I have tried to "think" it away and that hasn't worked. Because I've been healthy I guess I really thought it would just go away as quickly as it came but no such luck.
If it gets any worse I think I will try the acupuncture.
