I recommend Threelac. Both my husband and I have seen positive changes from it. You might not have to take it for the rest of your life. It's like vitamins. If you're eating right, you shouldn't need them. But with the mass producing of food, they are depleted of vitamins, therefore we supplement with extra vitamins. That's what Threelac is like. If you eat perfectly, never again take Antibiotics , never get exposed to parasites, only expose yourself to non-chlorinated water so that the chlorine can't kill your good bacteria... etc., then you won't need to supplement with good probiotics. But for me, I know I won't be perfect for the rest of my life, so I'll supplement with it a little.

I doubt that you'll suffer for the three months that you take a lot of Threelac. It might be hard for the first week or so, but then you'll probably start to feel great. Maybe your boyfriend could just take one a day. That's only $25 a month.
