LOL HOW FUNNY! I think we had the same parents! lol
I actually LET my kids bounce on the bed (1 at a time supervised) but only on our (my husband's and my) bed because it is on the floor on top of the 2 boxers. It's a big king so there's plenty of room but the kids sleep with us in the room so it is like a family sleep setting with 2 beds in it. The other is much too tall and I'd worry too much about them falling from that height.
My bed is sooooo bouncy and fun! LOL (I'm kind of a fun Mom at times) LOL
