I'm sorry, it looks like I miswrote. What I meant to say was that the doc said that Olive Leaf only kill pathogenic cells, not good ones (whether that's bacterial, fungal or viral).
East Park Research's web site says that their olive leaf will "Empower your immune system by “neutering” billions of pathogens that are tirelessly assaulting it!"
If probiotics are supposedly colonizing in the gut, why would we take any of these products like Olive Leaf, regardless of the time of day, if they are indiscriminately killing everything? Couldn't the same argument for not taking them at the same time of the day be made for taking them at separate times? If you take a probiotic in the morning, wouldn't taking Olive Leaf in the afternoon be killing the probiotics that colonized from the morning along with the candida? And then following those same lines, why would a person take Olive Leaf - EVER - unless that person knows that he/she has absolutely nothing good at all in his/her digestive system? It seems like that would just be like taking a prescription Antibiotic (but just a whole lot stronger because it would work on viruses and yeasts too).
But if they're not indiscriminately killing everything, how in the world would these products know which organisms to kill?
