wouldn't fermented foods be contraindicated for candida? I wonder if there is something different about lacto-fermented veggies. I had heard that those kinds of foods were good for the intestinal flora, but I have always felt like crap on stuff like umeboshi plums, etc. Used to do homemade kefir, and that was generally OK, but still bloated me sometimes. Thinking of starting that up again, but possibly modifying my methods based on some recent reading (not rinsing the grains this time). I buy those godawful expensive Rejuvinative Foods raw nut butters, and in checking their web site, I noticed they also sell the fermented veggies. Worth doing some research, I guess.
