My point is that Yogi Bhajan did not develop Kundalini. Other practices most certainly work with prana and kundalini shakti as well, and yes, all are headed for the same goal. I feel as though perhaps you have a set of blinders on. The things that you say feel like things you have been told and not necessarily what you have experienced. Maybe you should talk to more people and understand what other people's experiences are rather than assume that what you are doing is the only way, or in fact the best way.
By the way, a year or so of practice is not much. Most people who have practiced at length do not discuss each detail openly because their practice is very deep in them, and they know that not too much is achieved by talk. Talk seems like bragging, which should not be part of sadhana. You seem extremely presumptuous.
I know quite a few "Kundalini Yoga" practitioners within my wider circle. I have chatted at length and find that most talk as you do, but have little experience with yoga in a broader sense. They seem slightly insular, and perhaps even slightly brainwashed. They seem to have not been taught to think for themselves and to experience for themselves. I have read some of your posts with interest, but have felt for a long while that you have a narrow view. You don't seem to have much knowledge of kundalini, or at least haven't posted it. I felt compelled yesterday to post when I saw you writing about sadhana as though only you know how to do it.
By the way, my most favourite sanskrit word is "sravanam". It means "heard", but implies that first our ears hear something, and we may think to ourselves, "yes, that makes sense, I like that", but sravanam refers to a point at which that knowledge becomes a part of us, it is then HEARD....like "I hear ya!" at the deepest level, where the knowledge becomes part of of our cells, part of our whole being. That is understanding in my view. It can take a long time to reach that point.
Pranams,
Janaki
