The wider interpretation is yoga.
Kundalini is another good misunderstood sanskrit word.

The practices that you refer to are part of a "brand" of yoga called Kundalini, as set out by Yogi Bhajan in the last century. I try to refer to yoga which is a very broad practice from many thousands of years ago.

9th...just trying to clarify. I prefer to see yoga beyond the brands.
