I'm curious as to how many people who visit the cure zone practice yoga on a regular basis. If you are willing to share, I would like to know what meathod you practice, what your class or learning situation is like, what brought you to yoga in the first place, what inspires you to practice. Does anyone study the yoga sutras? Does anyone have a regular practice of all the limbs of yoga? Anything else you want to include.
I've been practicing the Iyengar meathod of yoga for almost eight years. I first started yoga as a suggestion by a friend. I was such a wildcat back then, she thought it would calm me down. We both started classes together. I really knew nothing about yoga at all. After about a month I was totally hooked. I've been practicing ever sence. I'm a quite firey personallity, yoga has brought me a calm I don't think I would have been able to achive otherwise.
I'm just starting to look at the philosophy of yoga. I have two copies of the Yoga-Sutras of Patnjali, one by Iyengar and one by Georg Feuerstein. I am trying to read and understand both. I would love to hear from anyone who has experence with these books, or simalar. Thank you in advance. ff.
