Hi Janaki,
Thanks for your input. I went to V. Venkatesha's website http://www.atmavikasa.com. It's quite impressive. It doesn't sound like the style he calls Atma Vikasa is new. It is based on the traditional yoga asanas. Also, it's somewhat similar to Sivanada's program where the asanas are done in a specific order. I guess the astanga classes are taught in the same manner as Pattabhi Jois classes.

PS. I'm in Toronto, Canada and have been doing yoga for well over 9 years with numerous teachers at various yoga schools. I have yet to find one that I like. Do let me know if you hear of any who might be worth trying out. Thanks
