I'm really not surprised. She probably just thought it was bad for her because it was high in fat and sodium, anyway. As far as I know, dieticians know little about real health, and don't care much about it, either. They just count fat, calories, sodium, carbs, etc. and feed "balanced" nutritionally devoid meals to the patients. Hamburgers, cream of chicken soup, jello, diet coke, maybe some mushy green beans if you're lucky. The sludge in most hospitals is LITERALLY sickening. Some dietician planned them.

I was briefly contemplating studying nutrition at my university. I took 2 classes, and it was pretty clear that the teacher didn't really know about true health. She tossed back some diet cokes herself. I could see studying that field, in that manner, was going nowhere.

Not saying anything against your dietician - just a little rant of my own.
