I'm 24, I work out regularly, and I feel fairly healthy except I have very foul gas, sometimes as often as every 10 minutes throughout the day. It is uncontrollable and seems to happen no what I eat. Over the past year and a half I have tried to slowly eliminate certain foods in hopes that it would improve. I found that not eating meat made it slightly better, so now I'm vegetarian. I've eliminated most dairy. I feel like I'm down to grains, fruits, and veggies and yet it persists. I am naturally very thin and the more I eliminate from my diet, the smaller I get. My family thinks I'm starving myself, but I'm just trying to avoid clearing the room. I have no health insurance and can't afford to go to the doctor. This is a painful and not to mention embarrassing condition. Also I've tried fasting, but I bartend 6 nights a week and it takes a lot of energy. I'm not sure I can afford to be dizzy or sick from the effects of a cleanse.
I've read through the site, it seems like some of this could help me but I'm not sure where is the best place to start. Any advice?
