what exactly does an Epsom Salt and baking soda bath do for a person?

what does a clay bath do? what are the differences here?

what about the hydrogen peroxide bath? i've never heard of that before!

I apologize for my ignorance - but these are things i've never been exposed to. I went to the online bookstore today and almost purchased a book on "oils" - but got so confused that i didn't end up doing it. that's why i originally came to this forum, to see if someone could give me information on oils - although most of what's in here is not about oils....

any information would be great. thank you!
