Hi,
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer that had spread to his liver, he was given 6 months, that was a year and a half ago, he is now working a very physical job and enjoying life, his last scan results from sept 30th showed no visable signs of cancer in either his liver or stomach.
He did have Chemo with much reluctance to try and knock back the cancer a little, this ended last christmas and worked to a degree but he still had at least 4 tumors remaining in his liver, the oncologist told us it was just a matter of time before they began to grow again. Three months ago we blew his mind when the scan showed that the tumors had disappeared completely, he was amazed and told us that what ever we were doing to keep it up as it was definatley working. We had in fact started using something called Pau-d-arco, I was contacted much like I am you by a lady who saw my plea for helpful info on a Cancer chat board, she told me how she had been basically sent home to die by the doctors as she had Colon Cancer that would no longer respond to Chemotherapy and there was nothing else they could do. She began to experience great pain and someone told her to try Pau-d-arco at first she had scoffed at the idea that something as simple as a tea brewed from a tree found in South America could be of any use, then she figured what the Hell... give it a try. She told me how within a week her pain was almost gone and that when she went for a routine scan the tumors were all visably smaller, and over the next weeks and months continued to shrink, the only thing she was taking was the Pau-d-arco. Well obviosly we tried it as well, with the same great results, I don't know if it will help you but I would definitley recomend trying it.
Of course my husband also takes several supplements, Greens + mixed with fresh juice every morning will help make your body alkaline, there is a lot of info regarding Cancer not being able to grow in an alkaline body, most people with Cancer are acidic, you can test yourself with Ph paper.
As for diet I strongly recomend a book called Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin, it has tones of great info and recipies and tells you about supplements etc, I just about wore out our libraries version before relenting and buying my own copy. We had at first tried Macro diets but they were to extreme, this book tells you how to eat healthy foods and still enjoy them, (one tip, cut out all refined white Sugar or as much as you possibly can, cancer feeds on it).

www.pau-d-arco.com , do not buy Pau-d-arco from a health food store, look for a reputable source on-line and buy in bulk, (we usually buy 5 lbs at a time which costs us approx 100 dollars Canadian (thats about $1.99 U.S. ...sorry just a little currency humor about the Great Canadian Peso) and lasts for a couple of months. If you wish to try it I know a good site in the U.S. where I have ordered herbs from, they were of high grade and I was very impressed with the service.
