Yes, a natural cleansing.....BUT, you probably
have a retroverted uterus. Means that instead of
angling forward, it angles back over your intestine.
Then when the uterus contracts (cramps) to push the
blood out during your period, it causes your bowel
to spasm a little too and hence.....diarrhea.

I have it too. After 15 years of menstruating, someone
finally told me. Nothing to be alarmed about, just
different.
