Similar sort of story - except my worms didn't hurt as much (I suspect because they weren't on the bottom of my foot more on the inner sole, so I didn't press on it). I had a wound on my inner sole for ages 5 years ago, which I got while wondering bare foot around my garden in Thailand. A few months later I started getting prickly feelings in my buttocks, a few months after that, a severe rash on my ankle. Anyway, I now have it through out my system, but hope to be gettin grid of it with teh Clarkia . Am switching to Humaworm when it arrives, and if that doesn't work then will swithc to Paracan. Have also been taking neem capsules - not sure if they're killing it, or feedind it, but will find out, I guess!
As to what they are - my bet is strongyloides - they can enter through your skin, and are quite common on beaches!
