I'm on paracan and have been seeing some strange results since day 2. I was aware of possible parasitic infection back in 1987 when I was in the carribean, I was singing in the show on a cruise ship and so I was on the ship for a year. The last 3 months I had something in the heel of my foot that made me limp in pain and dig into my heal and soak my foot every night. The ship doctor couldn't get it out and said he thought it was an ameoba.
After picking at my heel night after night before going to bed and soaking my foot until I fell asleep with my foot hanging over the side of the bed in the bucket of hot water, finally one night when I fell asleep with my foot in the water, the "worm" came out and I kicked the bucket over. I was so tired, I just dried my foot off and went to sleep. The next morning there was a horrible smell in my cabin, but my foot felt better!!
I had the cabin stewart help me for 3 days search my room until we finally found the source of the smell (smelled like a dead cat with stinky feet), it was a plump little black worm about an inch long or so!!! I was happy to have my foot back to normal, but now after 16 years my feet and hands have gotten so terrible! I have these huge calisouses on my heels and ball and around my toes, and recently in the last couple years I have felt like I have a piece of glass in my right foot (the same foot the worm was in). And my fingers cuticles and below just rip open and bleed and get so dry and cracked all the time, they're awful and painful!
Well now, on the paracan, I have what can only be described as little black worms (smaller than momma) coming out of holes that have formed in my calliouses! And they hurt! This started the 2nd day, then yesterday the 4th day, they started coming out of some of my fingers and both thumbs, by way of the cuticles and very painfully!
I'm glad for them to be leaving, but I think they're in my leg and arm muscles too because I have seen something moving down my arm (like maybe a colony dying off or something?) and my right leg calf muscle has really been tightening up and hurting! So I guess I still have quite a bit more of these nasty little guys to eliminate!
Anyone with any similar experience of die off or anyone ever having anything come out of their feet and hands please respond!! Or if you've seen this type of worm before coming out of any other area and maybe know what they are? I'd like to have my 2 1/2 year old son checked for them too!! I can't stand to think they might be in him also!!
