Perhaps, but I know what real Absinthe feels like from my college days and it's the same feeling. People in college actually used to make their own version of Absinthe with fresh Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and Jaegermeister. That's how I made the connection with the Clarkia -type products. You get a strange but pleasant buzz from Absinthe, and colors and movement take on a unique vibrancy.

I don't get this feeling with any other anti-parasitic (cloves, Black-Walnut , GSE, CoQ10), so I doubt it's a "die-off" effect.
