thanks for the BTW, but i've promised myself not to take anything in this forum personally, though it may at times seem so.
re. the elections - you just answered your own question - since you feel so strongly about selling-out and the votes going to the highest cash bidder, then vote for someone who stands AGAINST all that. honestly, i don't know who that may be right now, but as i've said before, i believe in voting on ISSUES, NOT parties. if that's the issue closest to your heart, then the only way you can make a difference is by researching that agenda and see who has it, then cast your vote. i'm not much for compromising, and my strong convictions have gotten me into trouble on more than one occasion. i've never gotten to vote, so i'm not going to pretend to know everything about it, but i know if i ever Do get a chance to vote, i'll make sure the ISSUES will have influenced my decision, and not who had the best ad campaign. what do you think?
