for this flush it doesn't matter if you're vegetarian or not, anyone can do it.
netav is right, you're supposed to avoid fat.
HOWEVER, I just want to point out that it is completely, 100% fine to not have any protein for 1 day, it will not adversely affect you whatsoever! So don't worry about that.
