One year ago I had been taking paxil for Depression and social anxiety disorder. While on the cleanse I did not know if I should take the meds. So I did not take the medication while on the cleanse and It never bothered me one bit.

I only lasted 4 days on the cleanse but I never took my paxil again after that. All was fine for about a month until I started getting really stressed out from work and school. I read about a natural supplement called 5-HTP that is a seratonin booster and helps people with Depression and anxiety. It worked like a charm for me and I never took the Paxil again. Paxil, Effexor, Prozac, Zoloft are all SSRI (Selective Seratonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors). THey also cause a massive amount of sexual side effects and other bad side effects like facial twitching if taken for years and years.

This 5-HTP has no side effects and is all natural and you dont need a prescription. What all the other drugs I mentioned due is block seratonin from escaping. What 5-HTP does is cause the brain to produce more seratonin. Either way lack of seratonin seems to be the cause of Depression and anxiety disorders and the 5-HTP really works and is way cheaper than that other garbage. It worked for me and let me tell you, I was a serious case. Waking up in the middle of the night with heart palpitations and sweating. I had to vomit every morning to make myself feel better. I woke up in a panic and was too scared to leave my house or go out in public. THe thought of asking a girl out terrified me! I left my phone off the hook and drank beer, smoked pot and watched TV all day. I turned into a lonely recluse. That was in the past. 5_HTP worked for me and I think you guys should try it after coming off the fast. Its only like $8 for a bottle. 200mg per day. Give it a try :o)
