The approach this company has taken to candida treatment has a great appeal to a society conditioned by the pharmaceutical industry. Specifically, a person need only "take something" to get rid of the problem -- no need for change in lifestyle or self-discipline of any kind. This is inconsistent with natural medical philosophy. To use a natural substance in such a way is a contradiction and somewhat fraudulent.

If threelac works at all, it can only work as long as it is being taken. There can be no permanency to this approach. Allegorically speaking, it is swatting flies on the manure pile, rather than removing the manure pile. The candida will always come back in the absense of threelac since nothing has been done to clean up the intestinal environment -- the real cause of the problem. To say that the diet does not have to be changed to win over Candida is ludicrous. This approach will assure many years of buying threelac.

Threelac is a probiotic and there are many probiotics on the market that are of better quality in my opinion. I think you'd be better off taking a high quality probiotic without the yeast powder (even though those selling threelac say the yeast powder doesn't matter, it does if you are sensitive to yeast products - many people with candida have negative reactions to yeast products and most practitioners recommend staying away from yeast in all forms while treating candida).
