I ate a small amount of chickpeas only because I was concerned that I was losing weight too fast and that it might interfere with breastfeeding (probably paranoid). They didn't seem to affect me negatively, but I know that more yeast would be dead now if I didn't eat it. Beans have quite a bit of carbs in them.
