The hardest realization Grog, is that only unconditional love/forgiveness will bring the karmic loop to an end.
That realization is a tuffy, I know, especially after all the suffering and ongoing abuse through the ages and the culmanation of confusion and disharmony to the point of where we are now.

Awareness is the first step, and you my friend are very aware.
