Thank you for your response. I realize that Al Lowe's Aloe is the best out there, so my next question would be, could I get the same effect drinking aloe juice that I can buy at the health food store, or take some of the pills that, although might have some fillers, are a cheaper alternative, or better yet chew some leaves off the plant I'm growing in my garden (even though it's not very efficient)? Of all these alternatives can any substitute for Al Lowe's Aloe? Also, since Al Lowe's is more potent, can you reduce the amount of it and let it go longer?
I guess I'm still looking for someone who's tried both recipes or is familiar with the ingredients in Dr. Bird's, who can help me make a well informed decision. It seems to me that with Dr. Bird's recipe you would have to take more at least by volume, but I don't know how much his recipe makes so it's hard to compare.
How long does a container of Ambro last you and how long does a container of Dr. Bird's last? As I said with 4 of us, possibly 5 (my husband is skeptical mostly of the MLM structure, he knows well how natural medicine works as we've tried several remedies (passed down from my mother and grandmother) on our kids for various ailments and even on himself. Although a lot of Drs. do care about money, there are also a lot who care about their patients, as we say where I come from, you can't make one bunch of all herbs).
