Yes, I tried the Fecal Enema , as described by deburr. I did it 3 times, once per day, starting 4 days ago. I'm hesitant to say it was a success this soon - I don't want to jinx it - but I'm having the first solid stool I've had in 4 months! The mucus is completely gone, and the blood is down to <10% of what I usually had. Yesterday, I went to the toilet 5 times, without much urgency. (usually it was 10-15 times daily, running).

I'm currently taking prebiotics (have been for a month now): EPA/DHA oil; L-glutamine; aloe vera juice; boswellia; psyllium fiber; bran fiber, and probiotics.

Amazingly, this morning I woke up without a sore back (ankylosing spondylitis, which is often associated with UC). I am cautiously hopeful.
I'll give further updates.
