It's important to know that when chiropractors work on your spine - there is movement. Much like when you go to the orthodontist and they put braces on your teeth - it hurts initially because they are moving the teeth into the correcto position. Just like the chiropractor is doing with your spine.
I used to have a severe scoliosis. I went to a chiropractor and he showed me x-rays of my way curved of of whack spine. When I fist started getting adjustments I was in a lot of pain 9 (just like when I first got braces!) - I couldn't sleep because it felt like someone was twisting my spine. It didn't last but a short time. Now my spine is much more in alignment and I have greatly lessened problems with it.
Sounds like you guys both started the process, but didn't continue to get to a place where you got anything premanently changed - that can take time. Don't give up on chiropractic or assume that you got a bad chiropractor because of your experience. Hopefully the above explanation will shed some light on what was really going on.
Also, doing the liver/gb and colon cleansing definately reduces or eliminates sciatica.
