Hi Miss Scarlett,

With all that cleansing and flushing going on, it might be an idea to have your blood tested for
Vitamin B12 levels. Many of your symptoms could be due to poor absorbtion or by lack of
sufficient time to absorb nutrients in the gut. If you have burning, numbness or tingling of
the extremities, change in taste, smell, vision, irritability, constipation.... it could be due to a neuropathy.
These are the warning signs that you body gives you to allow you to make changes in what
you are doing.

Don't just start taking B12 without knowing if you are defficient. If you do, you will never know
if you were low or if the cause was due to the flushing. If you have ulcerative colitis and have had
bowel surgery you could be unable to absorb the nutrients properly depending on where the surgery was.
Your thyroid can also cause nerve impairment, nausea, depression, chronic tiredness, so checking those levels
can also be worthwhile if you don't see improvement with B12 supplements. If you are seeing your doc
regularly this should already have been done.

If your arm was under your head while you were sleeping, it would fall asleep and pins and
needles would wake you enough to cause you to turn over. If you were awake, you would
definitely be aware of the lack of circulation and pending nerve damage and would
start moving to restore circulation. Don't ignore the warning signs.

Good luck,
Ron
