wow! that's awesome! i've had similar experiences...the body sure has an incredible way of detoxing...built up emotions, i think, are such a huge cause of our illness. they weaken our immune system. have you ever done the mc? i've had some really intense emotional/past experiences and realizations with that one too. but the lack of food was almost too much in the first 3 days. i was regressing and hallucinating. do you write your experiences down? sometimes writing letters to those we need to have closure and burning them or throwing in the ocean helps...

ps. i just learned yesterday that a lot of serotonin is produced in our gut and intestines...fascinating how the liver/gut/intestines and mood are all related!!! :-)
