Yes you can flush with out the orinthine, however, you will have trouble sleeping. It is strange, but all of my flushes kept me up until the weee hours of the next morning.

All of my flushes have been very good. Not sleeping didn't prevent stones from coming out. I ordered orinthine from Dr. Clarks store and plan on taking some next time I flush.
