I think it's the bile coming out that is causing the burning. That happened to me once but not because of a liver cleanse. I had never done a liver cleanse before. The bile came out and started burning but it only lasted about a half day. I don't remember now what started the bile flowing. I could have been taking some herbs. Let us know how long the burning lasts. I'm doing my first flush today.
