We (my wife and I) liked ThreeLac so much that we became distributors. (So, my opinion could be considered biased, but then I'm not going to sell you any, so there.) We were using it a lot for my son (see my posts in the Autism forum), and we seemed to be helping him out with it (and we definitely got a die-off reaction from it...), so we decided to go with it.

Another interesting use we've found for ThreeLac was to put a prompt end to a nasty intestinal bug (with relentless diarrhea) that some friends of ours (and their two little girls) had. Any good probiotic would probably have handled that, but until ThreeLac (the probiotic we happened to have at the time), nothing they tried (standard medical stuff) helped.

But I didn't really get a good grip on my internal flora colonies -- or even really any awareness of their existence -- until I started using Hydroxygen Plus.

For the first four days of its use (and I was taking about 1 1/2 times the recommended daily amount, because I like pushing things...), I flushed out so much toxic, noxious funk from my bowels that I was completely shocked. The odor was indescribable. But I'll try. Think of sewage, death, and decay, and you'll have the idea, but you still won't know the smell. It was bad. I had no idea that my insides were that bad. Included along with the sludge (it was not water soluble but sank as an oily sludge in the toilet bowl -- oily looking but denser than water... strange...) were globs of what looked like pond scum -- I'm guessing they were candida colonies, but I have no idea, and I didn't fish them out for evaluation. I passed the globs during the last couple of days.

Following that initial four-day cleansing period, everything returned to "normal", until the next cleansing reaction a week or so later, and which lasted for several weeks, and included expelling (what seemed like) pounds of mucous and phlegm. This was not for the faint of heart, but I'm a lot happier with that stuff out of me than in me. I'm still expelling bits.

My wife, on the other hand, noticed that she was passing "ropes" with Hydroxygen Plus. We switched to a competitve product, Lumina's Cell Food, to try that out, and she stopped passing the ropes (but my phlegm kept right on going). Since I only took four days for my extreme bowel cleanse, we didn't think anything of it, but when we switched back to Hydroxygen Plus, she started passing ropes again.

Need and desire for sleep are down. Concentration and focus are up, even without a lot of sleep.

I'm thrilled with 'em both.
