That is interesting. Vitamin E's claim to fame, other than being a strong anti-oxidant, is that it does wonders for healing skin that has been damaged by burns. I suppose inflammation of the colon may be similar in nature. Keep in mind it is also a blood thinner, so you might bleed more. Therefore Vitamin E is not recommended for open wounds.
