Hi Simon....nope I've never used the Arise and Shine package. PTree is the expert bowel Queen (she's a professional colonics Master!) and she is very very wary of ever using herbal laxatives (cascara sagrada and senna) because she's seen what it does to people. (basically atrophys peristalsis!) One should help the bowel tone/muscles by making it work, not by irritating the lining so that everything just floods out.

It's your call. A lot of people have had good results with Arise and Shine, I'm sure!

Maybe PTree will answer, too...I hope!
