Bludini, I'd just like to take this moment to let you know I did purchase this living water machine on ebay at a lower price than the $1,700. I too was skeptical about the use of this miracle machine. My first experiment was to try it in my hot tub. Let me say this, prior to putting water in my hot tub, I was using "The Natural" for a sanitizier. Once a week I was adding chlorine to kill any bacteria that had build up, so there was always some form of chlorine in my tub, not much but enough to detect on a test kit that I have. On Saturdays I then added a chemical called "Shimmer Plus" (Blue Wave is the name of the company that makes this product.) What this does it makes a lot of foam which coagulates the particles of dirt and the filters become for effective in collecting this dirty water. On Saturday I added 2 oz of Shimmer Plus and my tub never foamed up. I was shocked to see this. The only way I could explain this was that the water that I was using to top off from evaporation was the water from the John E. machine. I never filled my hot tub with this water I only used it to top it off because of the evaporation. It's been four weeks and I still have not used any chlorine and the water is still cystal clear and not one bit of chlorine in this hot tub. I'm just stunned to see what this water has done to my hot tub.
