Basically its getting rid of free radicals, as well as toxins (which may or not be free radicals). It is getting rid of excess imbalances in the body that the body currently does not want. Our body tries to create this equilbrium to optimize our health.

Another thing that energized water has some similarities is Radionics by Dr. Abrams. Some people can figure out intuitively how much electrical charge by checking for "stickiness" during an electrically charged water. 2 out of 10 people will do very well. About 4 or 5 will need some practice. About 2-3 will not succeed.Perhaps you are one of those few people who can do very well. I need some practice.
