Dear Dr. Schulze ,
Thank you for all your wonderful books and tapes--the tapes are especially inspiring to me. I have been very sick for several years with massive Candida infestation, (yes I really do have this, I know you say many people only think they have it!) some metals issues, adrenal fatigue, and allergy problems. I have slowly improved my health, due in part to your philosphy and products, and I feel I am almost there. Two questions: 1. As a skinny female, (5'7, 115 pounds) I have trouble keeping weight on, and when I fast using your programs, I drop so much more weight that I look truly anorexic, and I get so weak that I can barely function, much less keep up my usual exercise. I try to exercise during fasting, but I pass out after a few minutes. (I normally mountain bike or rock climb almost every day) I have never seen the issue of skinny people having trouble fasting in your literature, and I was hoping you could address this.
2. My husband and I live in the mountains of Wyoming, and we are hunters. We hunt elk and deer, and process it ourselves in our home. This, and occasionally free range, organic chicken is all the meat we eat. We also eat no dairy products. Other than this meat, we eat only whole, unprocessed organic grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables, and use your Superfood, and we regularily juice, and we drink lots of filtered water. When I don't eat meat I find I have blood Sugar and weakness problems, similar to when I fast. When I start the day with home made elk sausage and carrot juice and Superfood, I feel much better all morning long than when I eat Superfood juice with oatmeal, or fruit, or whatever, even when I add almonds or walnuts for protein. The meat issue is the only part of your plan I have not adopted, and I know it is a big part of your approach. Can you address the problems with hunted meat, especially since it does seem to agree with my system? I feel I am "listening to my body" and doing the right thing, but I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you!
